Hvorfor
er
lykken så lunefuld (Why Is Fortune So Unpredictable), En Skærslippers
Forårssang
(The Knife Grinder’s Song), Skibet skal sejle i nat (The Ship Departs
Tonight),
Sangen Om Larsen (Mr. Smith’s Song) and Månestrålen (Moonlight) are all
old
Danish evergreens that deserve to be heard again and again, outside
Denmark as
well – and work perfectly in Garner’s style. Kloden drejer stille rundt
(The
Earth Turns Slowly) and Love Is A Matter Of… are more recent Danish
rock songs.
Santa Lucia is a popular Christmas song in
Gunde
On Garner’s repertoire includes the world’s
most played tune - a Danish tune – Jacob Gade’s Tango Jalousi. The tune
has all
it takes to be played in Garner’s spirit, and he’s probably sitting up
there
somewhere, annoyed that he didn’t play it!!! Please enjoy this
collection of
songs that could have been played by Garner – if he had only known them…
